Remember, the customer is always right.
If you work in customer service you can probably relate to this story. Dealing with the public is a special skill that requires patience and fortitude to restrain yourself. Often customers get irate, but rarely do they choose to physically express their anger, especially on an employee!
This incident supersedes having a bad ‘case of the Mondays.’ This woman learns not to screw with a staff member who is already having a bad day.
The argument escalated fast
Watching the footage that one surveillance company caught from a gas station in Salt Lake City, Utah ought to make you glad that you quit retail years ago. No one said that customer service was an extremely hard gig, but when you’re faced with obnoxiously rude individuals on a regular basis… It can get challenging. Sometimes, it’s not easy just to take it on the chin.
This gas station attendant did just that though when she had to deal with a confrontation with a customer. What they were arguing about is unclear, but it is painfully apparent that the customer was not willing to back down.
Not Too Pleased With the Answers
Apparently the explanation wasn’t enough for the customer, who then takes their disagreement to a whole other level. Obviously dissatisfied with the response, she decides to slap the attendant.
The girl behind the counter doesn’t appear phased. This is probably an indication of what these poor servants of the public deal with on a regular basis.
Not So Fast
If this customer thought she was going to get away with her abuse of the clerk, she would be sadly mistaken.
It’s always the ones who think they can get away with such vile behavior that have to be a taught a lesson in keeping their hands to themselves! The attendant gives her the fight she’s looking for and proceeds to pummel this annoying customer right to the ground!
