Some men simply think that they can get away with touching any woman they want to without permission. Sometimes women are so shocked, uncomfortable, or scared to correct men that the men get away with it, so when women fight back, it’s something to admire.
The great thing about the Internet is that it makes it incredibly easy to publicly shame men like this guy who thought it was okay to attempt to harass this woman. Not only did she put him in his place, but she has huge numbers on the Internet rallying behind her.
Krystal Olsen from Long Island, New York, set a marvelous example of how to deal with guys who sexually harass women. She posted a picture of her harasser crying on the ground after she said he grabbed her inappropriately.
She shared that she pulled him from the bar in a choke hold and he pushed her against a wall. She said he was then arrested and shared a picture of him “crying like a b***h” while he was cuffed… Twitter had a field day.
A New Hero
The women of Twitter are looking up to Krystal as a beacon of shutting down sexual harassment. This girl cheered her on for taking advantage of the moment, writing, “The best part is that you literally stood there taking this photo of him. So priceless. 🙌🏻” Krystal replied, “Actually the head of security did and sent it to me bahaha but I was standing right there when he did it.”
It’s still a gorgeous photo.
Shutting Down Critics
Of course, as with any event in the public eye, some critics came out to give their two cents. One user replied, “Poor boy. You don’t think you’ve overreacted?”
Luckily, another user was there to shut them down immediately, writing, “Men don’t get to touch what they want whenever they want and get a simple slap on the wrist. He assualted her so she assaulted him back.”
