You can find everything on the internet, from how-tos and life hacks to recipes, advice, and even the answers to your math homework. And while the web might already seem infinite, it grows even more expansive each second. Just when you think you’ve seen it all (with some images unfortunately plastered into your mind for all eternity), you stumble upon something new and often weirder than before.

The Food Surgeon YouTube channel is one of those finds that sticks with you, even if you can’t explain why. Although he’s only posted two videos so far, the man behind the camera — who we never see — has established an equally satisfying and disturbing niche: dissecting food and even performing gastronomic surgery, as it were.

Do you think these are cool or creepy? Either way, we’re hungry.

With a full kit of medical supplies and fetishized rubber gloves, the Food Surgeon uses lighting and angles to establish an arcane mix between kitchen counter and operating table as he prepares to perform his work on various foods.

In the first video, he carefully dissects a Cutie orange with a precision and relaxed speed that simultaneously piques our interest while inspiring a feeling of unrest.
