Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus
If that’s the case, Venus must be one pricey place to live.
When you think about it (albeit stereotypically), who do you think spends more on their day-to-day “necessities”? When you take into account the varied toiletries and beauty products many women make use of in the early hours of the morning alone, it only makes sense that they’re more likely to have a bigger budget when it comes to weekly and monthly purchases.
Glamour decided to break down just how much men and women are spending on themselves on average, and the result may shock you once you see just how steep a difference there is.
Men sure have it easier…
Based on their own data, Glamour calculated how much the average man and woman spend on their morning routines over the course of a year.
Of course, “average” is a loose term here, as both the man and woman in the video appear to be well-off for their age and well-versed in terms of which beauty products to use.
If you don’t spend time on your hair and makeup in the mornings or before a night out, you probably have a very different budget.
