A Little Faith Goes a Long Way
Sometimes saying a little prayer, closing your eyes and hoping for the best is all you can do. And when Minnesota mother Angela Ramey was tasked with trying to sink a half-court shot to receive half off of her daughter’s tuition to private school — given her serious lack of basketball skills — taking an almost-blind swing turned out to be the best decision she could’ve made.
Angela and her daughter Grace raised the most at a school fundraiser at Bethany Academy, which earned them three golden opportunities to make the half-court shot to chop $4,000 off their next year’s tuition. Let us break down this EPIC miracle moment for you…
Don’t forget to SHARE the pure joy!
“I think you can, I know you can do it,” Angela’s daughter Grace shouts to her mother before her last shot. Both women had tried once at this point (with fairly miserable results,) but clearly their optimism hadn’t faded one bit. “Just throw the ball!” Grace yells as her mom preps her swing.
The gymnasium breathes a sigh of disappointment as they watch the basketball hit the wood floor. Better luck next year. Angela has already given up. But hold on a second…did that just happen?
