A small weapon with a big bang
Do you own a firearm? Do you receive embarassing stares from people when carrying it? Kirk Kjellberg did when he walked into a restaurant carrying his gun.
When a child noticed the gun, he screamed, “Mommy, mommy, that guy’s got a gun!” The entire restaurant turned around, giving Kjellberg the attention he didn’t want.
“There’s just got to be something better to do than this,” he thought to himself. That’s when he came up with the brilliant idea of designing a gun that resembles a cellphone.
The gun that can be folded back to look like a smartphone will come in handy but will also cause security issues.
The gun is ready to aim and shoot.
The gun holds two .38-caliber bullets. One press of the safety releases the handle, and the gun is ready to fire.
Because of its disguise, the gun will be a security issue.
It’s not the first compact gun that can be folded, but because it looks like a cellphone, it will most likely raise security concerns, especially at the airport. The gun has so much metal that it can set off a metal detector. However, Kjellberg is working with homeland security to make them easier to screen.
