These Are Not the Wages You’re Looking For.
After the smashing success of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, fans across the world are eagerly and impatiently awaiting the second installment of the new trilogy. Unfortunately, only bad news has come from the shoot so far.
First, Disney announced that Episode VIII’s premiere was being pushed back from May 26, 2017 to December 15, 2017 — a full two years after Episode VII’s release. That means more than half a year more of waiting to see what happens next in the stories of Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren, and Luke Skywalker, and it’s safe to say that nobody is happy about that.
Now, like the shadow of the Death Star, there’s a new threat looming over the film’s production.
And it all comes down to money.
