It was a great movie until…
Successful movies are made by a complex combination of many small parts: casting, screenwriting, scoring, filming, editing, and more– and even one small mistake could have audiences discrediting the rest of the effort put in.
Movie fans know what can make or break a movie, and while some films stink all around, other times, just one scene can make people disregard what otherwise may have been a promising work of art.
Think about your favorite films. Do any of them have scenes, lines, or moments you wish they had edited differently, or cut entirely? Redditors were asked to talk about the worst movie scenes of all time, especially the ones that ruined good movies, and this is what they came up with!
How much do you hate these scenes?
The singing alien in Jabba’s palace in the Return of the Jedi special edition. Probably not the worst but it’s one of the few scenes I actually have to skip because it’s so cringe inducing. (WhiskeyWeekends)
For all the bad changes made in the Special Editions, this is the most overlooked. They shoved an awful pop song into Return of the Jedi. The singing alien breaks the fourth wall, looking right into the camera with its huge eyes with long lashes, its disgusting red lips floating into the foreground. It’s as hammy as could possibly be. Of course Troll 2. (GaryReasons)
How have I never noticed the fly on his head? (magmasafe)
