Or is this just a ploy to distract us from Donald’s disgraces?

The 2016 presidential election has been absolutely nothing like we have ever seen before. While in years past, the dramatic antics of presidential hopefuls were expected, nothing compares to the seemingly endless amounts of scandals, drama, and overall ridiculousness of this year. The RNC and DNC conventions have just ended, and the official nominations for each party are Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton respectively.

We are continually hearing the disparagement against the candidates, but it seems like the press is growing tired and moving onto their next victims: their spouses, namely, Melania Trump.

CLEVELAND, OH - JULY 18: Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump gestures to his wife Melania after she delivered a speech on the first day of the Republican National Convention on July 18, 2016 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. An estimated 50,000 people are expected in Cleveland, including hundreds of protesters and members of the media. The four-day Republican National Convention kicks off on July 18. Attacking the candidates spouses is nothing new, but did the New York Post go too far?

“To say the media is unfairly attacking this white woman is to exercise a special niche of racism.”
