That’s right, the original Jedi masters were both present in this film. Did you miss it?

It happened pretty quickly, during the scene of flashbacks when Rey first touches the lightsaber. During this whirlwind of a scene, there are a montage of sound clips from Frank Oz and Alec Guinness, some of the originals we know and love.

That’s not all! Ewan McGregor is also heard as young Obi-Wan.

One of the biggest success stories from the original Star Wars, Warwick Davis was originally cast as an Ewok extra before landing the role of Wicket. He’s been starring in major sci-fi and fantasy roles ever since, but you might have missed him as Wollivan, a tavern-dweller in Maz Kanata’s castle.

If you were the director of a HUGE new blockbuster, would you give your dad a role? J.J. Abrams did. A well-known producer and cameo actor, Gerald W. Abrams appears in The Force Awakens as Captain Cypress.
