Becky Conner – Roseanne
Lecy Goranson portrayed Becky Connor on the hit ’90s sitcom Roseanne all the way until the middle of the fifth season, when she left to pursue a college degree and was replaced by Sarah Chalke. Goranson and Chalke rotated in and out of the character, which became the butt of many jokes throughout the show’s run. Goranson eventually left the show for good during its second to last season, leaving Chalke to take over the role full-time. Let’s be honest, it’s hard to choose a favorite Becky because they were both fantastic!
Charlie & Walden – Two And A Half Men
It’s no secret that Charlie Sheen’s exit from Two And A Half Men wasn’t exactly on good terms. Sheen had reportedly been showing up to set a complete mess after long nights of parties and raging alcohol-induced binges, leaving CBS to believe that his real-life behavior was getting a little too close to the habits of the character he portrayed on the show. Sheen was replaced by Ashton Kutcher after writers killed off his character in a car crash – which they found a way to do comedically. Ouch!
Aunt Vivian – The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
Remember the original Aunt Viv? She was played by Janet Hubert, who was allegedly fired from the show for not getting a long with Will Smith. Her spot was taken over by Daphne Maxwell-Reid, who was still quite popular amongst viewers. In 2011, Hubert described Smith as “an egomaniac” to TMZ, leaving us to believe that homegirl still hasn’t gotten over it. We could say that she went on to do bigger and better things, but we would be lying and that’s just not how we roll.
