The concept of a last meal is known to many people, often given as a sign of respect to someone before they’re executed.
In the case of convicted murderer Thomas Grasso, however, his final request was not granted, and he wanted to make it known.
“I did not get my SpaghettiOs, I got spaghetti. I want the press to know this.”
“Oh wow. Oh wow. Oh wow.”
Plagued by pain and illness in her later years, Joan Crawford ultimately died of a heart attack, but apparently, as her housekeeper began to pray during Joan’s final moments, the film star said, “Damnit… Don’t you dare ask God to help me.”
