I'm never checking a bag again
Sixty years ago, the upper and middle class saw air travel as an incredible luxury that required travelers to dress up in their best clothes before getting on board. Nowadays, everyone is taking to the skies to save time and money on traveling, and planes have become the cousin of public buses. So many cell phone videos are capturing fights and arguments on board, you may not be served a snack or drink, and people can not only look bad, but smell terrible. These airline workers are exposing all of the dirty secrets of the airline industry, and you may never hop on a plane again.
When flying overseas there are generally no systems tracking the movement of your aircraft for several thousand miles i.e. how they go missing. (brahlicious)
I believe it, I work on a ferry and once one of our fleet got lost and the company thought she sank. The ship was around the corner from it’s destination to keep out of the storm. There wasn’t any cell service for crew or passengers to call and the AIS wasn’t working there. (Wildstorm1000)
People fake needing a wheelchair to gain boarding priority. 10 wheelchairs get on and only 1 person needs it getting off. We call um miracle flights. (tagt8er)
I worked with cruises for a while and apparently there’s this constant problem with elderly people feigning feebleness to get the prized wheelchair cabins, which have more space and a bigger shower. They’ll borrow walkers and wheelchairs from friends in attempts to pull off the ruse. (SlateHardjaw)
If you checked your Dog there’s about a 30% chance it’s terrified before it even gets on the plane, who knows how scared it gets during the actual flight. Bag room agents will usually try to comfort a scared animal, but all we can really do is talk to it, so if you write your pet’s name on their carrier it usually helps a lot.
I’ve never seen a cat who was scared in the bag room, cats don’t give a f**k. (RabbitMix)
