I'm sorry, but women are pretty great
We’ve all heard of the “Bro Code,” “Guy Code,” or “Man Code,” but what about the “Girl Code”? It’s definitely been theorized, it’s been referenced here and there, but it’s never been fully laid out. Someone asked Reddit Users to explain what they think the most important parts of the Girl Code are and the ladies of the Internet totally delivered. Be warned though: You might just get woke.
Not only do these rules illustrate the differences in how men and women are socialized to interact with each other, but they broadcast the differences in priorities between the genders. Seriously, it’s a fascinating read.
“Always try to help a fellow drunk girl in the bathroom when she needs it. Lend a hair tie, band-aids, tampons, etc. One time, a drunk girl cried when I gave her a bobby pin.” (meowdryhepurrrn)
There are no friends quite like drunk strangers in bathrooms
“Drunk girls will always compliment you in the bathroom, even if you look terrible. There’s an amazing camaraderie whenever the booze gets broken out.” (cardamomlace2)
“Tell them if their mascara is running or if they have something stuck in their teeth.” (winnie_bago)
“or if their lipstick is on their teeth” (ikroa)
