Leslie Fhima may not have gotten a ring on The Golden Bachelor, but she has been down the aisle before…twice. Leslie has gone into detail about the circumstances of her first two marriages.
She’s widely considered the frontrunner to be the first Golden Bachelorette and now Leslie Fhima is sharing some details about her relationship history before she went on reality TV.
The 65-year-old was the runner-up on the first ever season of the The Golden Bachelor. Before Leslie competed for Gerry Turner’s heart, she was previously married twice.
Now, she has shared everything that you might want to know about her former husbands that you did not learn from the ABC series.
On the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Leslie opened up about her exes to Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt.
“Being divorced is not like the plague,” explained the personal trainer. “It happens.”
She said of her first marriage, “With Brad and I, we were just really young. We kind of just became different. I don’t like to say ‘grew apart.’ But if I needed something in the middle of the night, if I called him, he’d help me.”
They got married all the way back in 1980 before getting divorced in 1988.
“I’m very good friends with his siblings and his cousins. Minneapolis is a small big town, so everybody knows each other,” Leslie noted.
Sadly, the story did not end so happily with her second ex-husband.
