Marriage isn't for everyone.
Marriage can be tough work. Sometimes a partnership and other times a pain, being married can mean compromising with and unselfishly considering your spouse all the time. For those people who have seriously given it a good run and still couldn’t seem to make things work, perhaps it was because you didn’t have any reminders of what matrimony is really all about. Hear the things this guy was able to put into perspective after his marriage was over.
Never stop dating your partner
This one might seem like a no brainer, but you’d be surprised how many people completely forget the power of courtship after they’re married. This guy urges men and women to:
“NEVER EVER take your significant other for granted. When you asked them to marry you, you promised to be that person that would OWN THEIR HEART and to fiercely protect it. This is the most important and sacred treasure you will ever be entrusted with. THEY CHOSE YOU. Never forget that, and NEVER GET LAZY in your love.”
Guard your heart
“Love yourself fully, love the world openly, but there is a special place in your heart where no one must enter except for your spouse. Keep that space always ready to receive them and invite them in, and refuse to let anyone or anything else enter there,” he says.
Keep falling head over heels
“THEY DON’T HAVE TO STAY WITH YOU, and if you don’t take care of their heart, they may give that heart to someone else or seal you out completely, and you may never be able to get it back,” he warns.
