Twitter is a wonderful place
I used to think Twitter was a terrible thing, but now, very little brings me as much joy as the wit of my fellow users. In a world that seems to be falling apart, it’s nice to know that there are people out there who are able to find a perfect balance between caring too much and not caring at all. #TwitterJokes keep me (and I think most of us) going these days. Over the past few days, a deliciously self-deprecating trend (#MyPersonalWorldRecord) has been going around.
Here are some of the best of them!
“1 hour without touching my phone #MyPersonalWorldRecord #worsthourofmylife”
A truly harrowing tale. So glad that you made it through, girl.
“#MyPersonalWorldRecord 23 years of overthinking”
With you there, buddy. With you there.
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry
“#MyPersonalWorldRecord 67 days without setting the kitchen on fire.”
All I can say is that I hope this is a joke… Becuase if they set their kitchen on fire 67 days ago, their life is probably in shambles….
