Now, new movies are coming out every week, it seems. So many different genres that take place in so many different time periods, they can’t all be accurate, can they? Forrest Gump is a classic. Remember that one scene where he gets mail from Apple? Apple didn’t actually start their public trading until 1981, and the movie was set in the year 1975. Oops!
In Titanic, Jack tells Rose about how he and his father used to fish in Lake Wissota. That’s interesting, because Lake Wissota didn’t exist until five years after the Titanic sank, in 1917!
