Will they follow through, though?
Lots of American claimed they would move to other countries if Donald Trump was elected our next president. While this happened with George W. Bush, most people didn’t follow through with their threats. But it seems more Americans have a hatred of Trump than they did Bush. People all over the country are crying and protesting since Tuesday’s election.
Celebrities are no different. We all know Hollywood is more leftist in general and many celebs are vocal about their political and social views. Here’s a list of some actors who want to get out in case stuff hits the fan.
It’s no suprise that Jon detests Trump with a passion. He actually came out of retirement to denounce Trump, calling him a “man-baby” amongst other insults
According to People, the beloved funny man and former talk show host would be “getting in a rocket and going to another planet, because clearly this planet’s gone bonkers.”
One of our favorite actors said in October that, “I would definitely move. It’s not real to me that that would happen. I hope to God it won’t.” He was a staunch Hillary supporter who is also a Bernie Sanders fan. Earlier this year he said, that The Donald is “an anomaly to the human race.”
Samuel L. Jackson
In 2012, Jackson made a political video called “Wake the F*** Up,” in which he laid out all the reasons voting Republican would be a bad idea: Infringements on women’s rights, gay rights, lack of concern for the poor, and more.
One of the coolest movie stars of all time, Jackson pulled his favorite curse word out for Trump. “If that motherf***er becomes president, I’m moving my black ass to South Africa.”
