Though Khloé has openly forgiven Tristan for the indiscretions that took place while she was pregnant, there have been rumors of more trouble between the couple. Last month, the pair — who share daughter True Thompson— were reportedly at odds because Khloé wanted her mother, Kris Jenner, to get involved with Tristan’s finances, and he was NOT having it.
“Khloé wants Tristan to let Kris manage his money,” a source close to the pair revealed to Radar. “She feels he’s spending way too much on jewelry, cars and stupid s**t.”
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star also believes her man is giving Jordan Craig, the mother of his almost-2-year-old son, Prince “way too much money,” added the insider.
Unsurprisingly, Tristan wasn’t pleased with the Good American designer’s suggestion.
“Tristan thinks she’s crazy and told her he’s capable of managing his own cash and was offended she even asked him such a thing,” said the source.
In fact, the 27-year-old seems to believe that this is another way for Khloé to “trap him” into her famous family.
“Tristan thinks this is another way Khloé’s trying to trap him and get him all tied up in the Kardashian web,” the insider revealed.
Tristan’s finances first came into the public eye a few months ago, when the Cleveland Cavalier’s star was fined by the NBA when he shoved a basketball in Draymond Green’s face (after apparently defending Khloé) and for failing to leave the court in a timely manner.
In the spring, Tristan’s coach threatened the team with $100 fines if they fell for Toronto Raptor’s shoot guard’s DeMar DeRozan’s pump fakes.
When he heard that news, Tristan revealed that he was trying to save for his children’s education.
“We have to [stay down] because if we jump and he gets a foul, it’s $100,” Thompson said with after the Cavaliers played the Raptors at the Air Canada Centre on May 1. “I just had kids, so I’m trying to save up for their college tuitions.”
