Rebecca has a message for the world, and the world is listening
Rebecca Schofield, a 17-year-old Canadian girl, has had to deal with a crazy emotional roller coaster after learning that she had a cancerous brain tumor, but it may all be coming to an unfortunate end. It’s not all bad news, however, even though she’s just a normal teenage girl, she has somehow gotten a simple message to be accepted by people all around the world.
In the aftermath of months and months of hard work and chemotherapy, Rebecca had her brain tumor removed. But it wasn’t over. Late last year her doctors discovered that she had two more tumors that turned out to be inoperable. The doctors said that she had anywhere from three months to a year left to live.
A small message
In addition to creating her own bucket list, she had another wish that she wanted to be heard. She’s asked people to simply do one thing: Be kind to one another and do good deeds in her name, and share them on social media by using the hashtag #BeccaToldMeTo.
A big impact
As you can see she’s already reached plenty of people, and has support from people all over the globe. Just doing a simple search for the hashtag “#BeccaToldMeTo” will yield hundreds of results, proving even further that Becca is getting her message out there.
