How to Find Out If Someone Isn't Really Gone
Losing a loved one can be an extremely difficult time in anyone’s life. It can be tough to accept that the presence of someone you love has simply vanished from the Earth.
But, since the beginning of time, humans have had theories about what happens to people when they die. Some believe that instead of passing on completely, some people leave a presence on Earth among the living; it can be to address unfinished business, to remain with those they love, or simply because they aren’t ready to pass on. If you have a hunch that your loved one is still around, there are a few signs you should look out for.
Dream states allow humans to enter into a different type of consciousness that opens us up to different experiences than when we are awake. Our loved ones may reach out to us through these experiences.
Dream visitations occur when a deceased love one appears in a dream with more clarity and details than in a normal dream. They may pass on a message or simply spend time with the dreamer. This may often give the deceased loved one enough closure to pass on.
Hearing, Seeing, or Smelling Them
It makes sense that if you see a loved one who has passed on, they might be still around, but what about hearing or smelling them? If you focus on passing voices at night or when it’s quiet, you may find that they sound uncannily like your loved one. You may smell a certain fragrance they used to wear, or a scent of something they often baked. Apparitions of loved ones are not limited to simply visual presences.
Strange Electrical Activity
The presence of spirits may interfere with normal electrical activity, including lights, televisions, radios, and computers. If you start to notice that certain electrical appliances are malfunctioning (especially if they are appliances often used by your loved ones), it may be them attempting to send a message or a sign of their presence.
