Teachers mold the future
Teachers nowadays might not seem like they used to. It seems like every few weeks you’ll see another scandal that involves a teacher and some of their students. It’s a sad reality, but it’s just that: reality. This teacher on the other hand didn’t really do anything illegal, just something you might say is “highly questionable” at best.
Delight Greeidge, a mother from Canada, was left confused when she found a homework assignment that her 13-year-old son brought home from school. After asking her son to see the assignment, she was shocked at what she had her eyes on.
Her eyes probably widened and her jaw might have dropped after seeing that her kid’s eighth grade drama class homework was to make crystal meth.
Apparently, the boy and a few of his classmates were struggling with a skit, and the teacher gave them this assignment to try to form a skit around instead.
Maybe the teacher thought it was a funny joke, but not so much the parents.
Greenidge said, “I’m reading this thing and my eyes are just swelling up as I’m reading it and I think my blood pressure went up by about 50 points because it is detailed, step-by-step, blueprint instructions on what you need to make crystal meth, how to prepare crystal meth, and then how to inject yourself with crystal meth.”
