You thought your family was weird?
Have you ever looked around and thought your family was a bit stranger than most? Trust me, yours isn’t the only one. Every family has their own, unique quirks; that’s what sets them apart from the rest of the world. As long as there’s a great amount of tender, loving care given in a safe environment, you should be able to look past the unconventional behavior your family’s displays.
The Duggar Family
The TLC reality series 19 Kids and Counting followed the lives of Independent Baptists Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar raising their 19 children. The show was canceled in its 10th season when rumors surfaced that the eldest Duggar child, Josh, was cheating on his wife.
The family is back on TV with the show Counting On that showcases the daughters getting married and having families of their own.
The Son of The Bearded Lady
Richard Loreng learned his birth mother, Vivian Wheeler, was born a hermaphrodite and suffered from hypertrichosifs, aka Werewolf Syndrome. She was a part of the circus that featured her as The Bearded Lady. Richard’s father also worked with the circus.
Because of his mother’s condition, his father put him in foster care. The two have reunited and, by the looks of it, are happy they found each other.
The Lion Family
Things got kind of weird when actress Tippi Hedren, her husband, Noel Marshall, and their daughter, a young Melanie Griffith, invited Neil the lion to live with them. Neil starred in the 1981 drama thriller Roar and the filming resulted in 70 injuries to the cast, crew, and all three family members.
