You won't believe what eight years did to the Obamas
Dr. Michael Roizen said in 2009 that his research concluded, “The typical president ages two years for every year they are in office.” His statement was qualified by Dr. James A. McCubbin who said, “Chronic stress can produce lots of wear and tear on the body. That is what we see in the changes in the appearance in the beginning and end of the presidency.” We’ve all been noticing that Barack Obama has been going gray lately, but the rest of his family has changed a lot more than that in the near-decade that they spent in the White House. See how this intriguing family has aged since Barack took office!
Coming in after the New Millennium, Sasha Obama was the youngest child to live in the White House since John F. Kennedy Jr. She was just eight years old when she moved into the White House, but she was eventually named One of the Most Influential Teens in 2014 by Time Magazine.
Sasha was noticeably absent at her father’s Farewell Speech. She’s just 15 years old, and she had a big exam coming up at her private high school, Sidwell Friends. It’s unsure if she’ll continue to matriculate there or move out of D.C.
You could say that Sunny is the “Second Dog” of the nation since she joined the Obamas in 2013. She is a Portuguese Water Dog like her companion, Bo, and she was born on June 11, 2012.
