Do you remember these things fondly?
No matter how old you are, there are things that have changed in your lifetime that you wish had stayed the same. Those nostalgic feelings are powerful because they remind us of times in our lives when things were simpler, less stressful, and happier. Even so, life has a tendency to get the better of us, and nothing stays the same.
These people just can’t let go of how good they used to have it.
Getting Up Early
Saturday Morning Cartoons. (Pandamonius84)
It only recently dawned on me that Saturday morning TV wasn’t for the kids, it was for the parents. The kids will inevitably get up at WTF o’clock on Saturday morning and could just watch that crap unattended, giving the parents more time in bed. (Eddie_Hitler)
You know all of those chains news outlets claim millennials are “killing”? Those places. I was born in the early ’80s and remember places like Applebee’s, Subway, and Papa John’s tasting pretty good as recently as the early 2000s.
These places have all cut quality in the name of profit over the years, and it shows. They have no one to blame but themselves for “killing” their brands. (Bobcatluv)
A Little Less
A lot of food items now come in smaller sizes but at the same price as it was before. So I’m still spending the same amount on a box of Oreos, but there are eight less cookies in the box and they’re thinner. A lot of food items at the grocery store are like this. (EricTheRedCanada)
