They shut it down!
The old saying is still true: A gentleman never kisses and tells. Well, that’s exactly the opposite of what this guy did.
Instead of dealing with his blind date and keeping it to himself, he decided to make all of his issues with his date public in the “Undateables” section of Time Out New York.
Luckily, Twitter was there to back this girl up.
Instead of keeping his issues to himself, this guy decided to take his issues with his date to the “Undateable” section of The New York Post. Apparently, he had some very high standards when it came to this date.
He told The Post that it took “more than just a beautiful woman” to get his attention. But what he criticized his date for made it very clear that he had some pretty shallow standards.
From the minute this date started, this guy was already judging. He begins his tirade by saying, “She was about five minutes late for the date, which annoyed the s**t out of me.” He also made up his mind that he didn’t like her just based on her appearance, saying, “I knew she wasn’t the girl for me. She didn’t have the goods.”
Even though he was brave enough to be a “gentleman” throughout the two hour date, he notes that she complimented him several times, which is apparently a plus.
His next point of judgement? Her food. He writes, under the “Awkward Moment” section, “She ordered her filet mignon well done. The waiter just looked at me, and I looked at the waiter. I was like, ‘Live your life, but this is not Outback Steakhouse, girl.”
The poor thing had another 20 minutes tacked on when the waiter offered dessert.
His verdict? One heart out of five. “There was nothing drawing me in,” he writes. “She was very sweet, always smiling, always bubbly. But I feel like I took two hours of my time and kind of just burned it.”
