The world needs more good news!
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: The news has been ROUGH for the past year or more. Like they say, “No news is good news,” which in its more pessimistic interpretation means that most of the news you hear about on a daily or weekly basis is negative.
Fires. Disasters. Death. Sickness. Corruption. Bullying. Bankruptcy. Sadness. Why is the news so focused on these depressing topics? Of course, it’s important to be realistic and keep up to date fully aware that we live in an imperfect world. And how many stories about kittens being rescued from trees can you handle, really?
But maybe it isn’t so much about ignoring the negative as it is about finding and focusing on the good. Luckily, we’ve got some great news here for you. People were asked to remind us of some unexpectedly good things that have already happened thus far in 2017, and from world events you might have missed to personal stories of success, these are sure to cheer you up!
