What bothers you?
No, I mean it. What really bothers you?
All of us have our pet peeves, and while some are more common than others, it’s perfectly normal to have things that get on our nerves. But does it feel like some common pet peeves are totally blown out of proportion?
From loud chewers to slow walkers, the things that annoy many people sound pretty small, at least until you’re stuck suffering because of them. But still, do some people complain too much?
Redditors were asked to share the things that don’t really bother them, even though other people complain about them all the time. Are we making mountains out of molehills?
What’s in a name?
Explaining how to pronounce my name. It’s a very uncommon name with a vowel that has an accented pronunciation. I’m pretty introverted and correcting people when they get it wrong has never been an issue. People act like someone getting your name wrong and correcting it is this terrible burden and my parents have ruined my life. It’s just not that serious guys. (Alas_Counsel_Me)
Are you ignoring me?
Not being texted back immediately. If I sent you a text, it’s most likely not urgent, otherwise I would’ve called. (intergalactictiger)
A Hairy Subject
I know this is going to sound weird to most people but finding hair in my food isn’t really that gross to me for some reason. Like yeah, if it looked like a stray pube, gross. Yeah, it’s kind of inconvenient and not pleasant but it doesn’t necessarily gross me out. (inmyhoeopinion)
YIKES! Could you get over that? More pet peeves this way…
