The Wrong Rock
Plymouth Rock is literally just a rock, it’s been chipped away at over the years so it’s smaller than it was years ago. It’s been moved several times over the years so it’s not in its original spot, and in truth nobody really knows if the rock has anything authentic to do with the actual Pilgrims. (roadtrip-ne)
India. Some of the most famous tourist attractions like the Taj Mahal are located in the poorest, worst parts of the country. Places that even I wouldn’t want to visit.
The nice places still have castles, temples, palaces but none of the famous or spectacular ones. (Bombthebay57)
Europe’s Northern Lights
Finland. it’s not that common to see Northern lights as some people seem to think. I’m in my 30s and have seen them maybe three-four times in my life. During the most active Aurora season, the sky is usually overcast. (Kyesah)
My first day in Finland I accidentally walked up to the Presidential Palace and saw the President giving a speech while I was standing in a crowd of less than 50 people. Great time, loved it there and in Estonia! (Rdsknight11)
