Whatever happened to the Lost Boys?
It seems impossible, but Hook, the classic “return to Neverland” story we all love, came out 25 years ago! Lost Boys and pirates and invisible sandwiches abound—not to mention Julia Roberts as a fairy. No matter how many times you’ve seen it, Hook never gets old. Something in the magical tale of an older Peter Pan reconnecting with a new generation of Lost Boys to save his kids spoke to all of us and making the movie an instant classic.
And in case you were wondering, here’s what all the adorable little kids of Neverland are up to 25 years later!
Charlie Korsmo, Then
When he was cast as Peter Pan’s son, Jack, in Hook, Charlie Korsmo had already appeared in quite a few films for someone his age.
Charlie Korsmo, Now
Despite his success in film as a youngster, Charlie retired from Hollywood after Hook. He did appear in the 1998 film, Can’t Hardly Wait, as a teenager, but decided to keep focused on school after that. He eventually went to MIT, then graduated from Yale Law. He is currently an attorney and professor in Cleveland, Ohio.
You can take classes with Jackie Banning if you attend Case Western Reserve, School of Law in Cleveland… Just saying!
Raushan Hammond, Then
Raushan Hammond stole everyone’s heart with his acting debut as the adorably pudgy Lost Boy, Thud Butt. The character’s madcap antics and Hammond’s endearing smile made him an instant fan favorite!
