These soccer moms were ready to shut it down!
Everyone’s gotten a wrong number one time or another… It happens. However, since texting has become the norm, it’s not always just a matter of apologizing and hanging up.
When this person got added to a group chat full of soccer moms, they didn’t just speak up to let them know they had a wrong number. Instead, they decided to troll them for all it was worth, and it was probably the most confusing thing to happen to these soccer moms all day!
It started when Imgur user thecarnivale was added to a group full of 10 soccer moms who were planning for an upcoming event. It stayed normal for about five minutes before things got weird.
The person who started the chat wrote, “Hope everyone is doing well, coach juan would like to meet with the parents towards the end of practice around 8:20.” After all of the other members said “Ok,” the troll replied, “My kid is the best on the team. just sayin.”
Of course, the group was not happy. “[What] is this comment about????” one of the mothers raged. The troll replied, “I mean… my kid has raw talent.”
The group members were clearly already annoyed. “Good for him,” one wrote. “So why is he playing for the village?”
The troll responded, “I think when he’s older he will realize what a great influence his talent was on the other kids. It’s very noble actually considering he’s been scouted.”
One member defended the kids, saying, “[The] way I understand soccer all the kids have talent. Those are the rules.” Another chimed in, “It’s not the talent or the goals, it’s the time the kid actually gets on the field.”
David Beckham’s Christmas Party!
The troll was quick to shut this down, too. They said, “Participation trophies are for little sissy players. By the way, the snacks suck lately.”
When a member protested, “Anyone can have talent,” the troll replied, “Yeah, but is everyone invited to David Beckham’s home for Christmas? I don’t think so.”
It seemed like all of the members thought that one of the soccer moms was really this self inflated. One wrote, “I don’t know what is wrong with these people making these kind of comments.” Another said, “Ok I don’t know wtf is going on here but I’m getting p**sed off.” They went on, “Later let’s talk about this so I hope the person who are sending these comments goes to the meeting,” and, “We will all see each other later today, I look forward to it.”
