Sitting properly

Like standing up straight and having good posture, sitting properly can alleviate a lot of pain in the future. Instead of the “W,” have your kids in a “V,” with their legs in front of them and apart from each other. While they remain balanced, it’s also comfortable and stretches their legs and back.

Also known as sitting “Indian-style” when I was a wee one, crossing their legs their legs under each other in a folded position is also recommended to relieve strain on joint and bones.
