It goes beyond the affair.
Hillary Clinton is on the road to the White House. If she makes it, it will be her second time on the inside, but this time around she would have a very different role.
The former First Lady was part of a love triangle when her husband, Bill Clinton, was president. Although he denied it initially, it was apparent that Bill had an extramarital affair with a then 22-year-old White House intern named Monica Lewinsky. She was vilified and humiliated in the press, but she has since come out as a strong, vocal woman. As the election draws nearer, Lewinsky may just be in favor of voting for her former lover’s wife for the first female president of the United States of America.
Will Monica vote for Hillary?
Monica Lewinsky came out publicly last year with her support for one of the Democratic presidential nominees. Since her former lover’s wife is one of those people, she felt the need to speak her opinion on the presidential race as well as topics like public shaming, which she has been personally experiencing for almost 20 years.
Bill Meets Monica
Monica Lewinsky was a bright-eyed intern working at the White House beginning in 1995. The dark-haired beauty quickly caught the eye of the President of the United States, Bill Clinton, and they began a romantic interlude. However, Bill was already married to current presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. Lewinsky claimed that she “fell in love with her boss” and told her coworker and friend, Linda Tripp, all about it after Lewinsky was transferred to the Pentagon under suspicion of getting too close to Bill.
