She is our spirit child.
We’ve all been taught to always be ourselves. The lesson of individuality can be a difficult one for children. Bullying and teasing are commonly aimed at those who choose not to conform. That’s why this child is so inspiring to us.
Everyone can learn a lesson or two from her…no matter how old you are.
May 10th Was Princess Day at Holly Springs School of Dance.
One of the teachers at the dance school, Sarah Nativi, explained that “the last few weeks of dance class we let the girls dress up and this week was Princess Week, so we were expecting all of the girls to come in their princess dresses.”
Instead, one of the students showed up in the most unexpected of costumes.
While Most Princesses Wear Crowns and Tulle…
…one dancer showed up with ketchup and mustard as her accessories. 5-year-old Ainsley decided to opt out of the dress and wear her favorite hotdog costume instead.
When Ainsley got there, “everyone was so surprised but we loved it and thought it was great that she wanted to wear a hot dog costume. We all took pictures because we thought it was funny that she came to Princess Week as a hot dog,” Sarah recounted.
