She opens up about her most private moment
Ronda Rousey wants her fans to know that she is not a model for weakness. Fans and those who aren’t fans have been coming at the UFC champion’s neck after she confessed to having suicidal thoughts during her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The fighter got super emotional when Ellen asked all sorts of questions about Ronda’s feelings after losing her match to Holly Holm.
Ronda is not ashamed for confessing. Due to her family’s history, she feels she can help people.
Thoughts of Suicide
Last week, Ronda appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and talked about her feelings after losing her match with Holly Holm. The fighter opened up about having suicidal thoughts: “I was sitting in the corner like, what am I anymore if I’m not this? And I was literally sitting there and thinking about killing myself in that exact second. I was like, I’m nothing. What do I do anymore? And no one give a s**t about me without this anymore,” Rousey said.
It Was Her Boyfriend Who Saved Her
Ronda gives credit to her boyfriend, MMA fighter, Travis Browne, for helping her see the light during her darkest time. “To be honest, I looked up and I saw my man Travis was standing there. I looked up at him and I was like, I need to have his babies. I need to stay alive. I haven’t told anyone that. I think I only told him that,” she told Ellen and the audience.
