Back to School!
The start of a new school year can bring mixed emotions for many. For teachers and students, it means the end of several glorious months of vacation; for parents, it means the kids are out of the house and they can finally relax and work calmly during the day once more.
For those going off to college, especially for the first time, the beginning of a school year also represents the beginning of a new stage of life, moving away from home, leaving our parents behind (at least in distance), and starting out on our own.
Only in most cases, we’re not alone: There’s always our freshman roommate.
Whether in a double, a suite, the dreaded forced triple, or any other combination of freshman year rooming, having to live with strangers isn’t always easy. In fact, in can be downright frustrating or even scary.
What was your freshman year roommate like? Did you or someone on your dorm hall have a horror story? Redditors were asked to share their wildest stories about college roommates, and these will make you thankful for your roommate.
The wildest roommate stories you’ve ever heard…
