Who hasn’t been disappointed at one or many points in their life? Our entire experience on this Earth is built around the ups and downs, the highs and lows of our everyday existence.

But that’s all right! After all, how would we know to appreciate how good something is unless we also knew how bad it could get?

When it comes down to it, the worst kind of disappointment comes from people or things we had the highest expectations for, and more often than not, we only have ourselves to blame.

Have you ever built yourself up for something you just knew was going to be great, only to find out that it was actually really lame once you did it? Yeah, we’ve all been there.
