This tween has more skillz than I do.
I am always amazed by the age we live in. Not only do we have all the information of the world literally at our fingertips, it’s now available in the palm of our hands.
There are online classes for everything: Languages, knitting, programming and whatever your heart desires known as “webucation”. But have you heard of someone learning to dance through YouTube? This 12-year-old dance prodigy learned the graceful, trendy art of Dubstep.
You need to check out her moves: They rival Michael Jackson’s!
How she did it
Adilyn Malcolm mastered dubstep dancing by just using YouTube as her teacher. This 12 year old used the internet to stop, rewind, and watch videos of the best dubstep music dancers in the world. She admits a traditional dance class wouldn’t have allowed her the same results.
If you aren’t familiar with dubstep, it’s form of electronic dance music. The dancing associated with dubstep is also called “popping,” which is quickly contracting and relaxing muscles to cause a jerk in the dancer’s body, but in a fluid way.
Known online as “Audacious Adi,” it’s a name that doesn’t even do her skills and talents justice. She gives the difficult appearance of moving through water. She started when she was just 11-years-old, while other girls her age are still playing with Barbies or swooning over boy bands, she had the determination to teach herself, something not many people have the drive to do.
