I was at a distant friend’s wedding. My wife knew them better than me, but I was her date, so I went. Right as the priest proclaims them husband and wife, there’s this huge lighting/thunder, then a gust of wind, church doors slam closed, and a stone angel topples over.
They wound up getting divorced after she slept with the best man a few years after the wedding. (octavian_c)
Not really an objection. The wedding went fine. The next day though the groom found all the text messages to another man. She said “I love you” to another man on her wedding day. The groom did not send in the marriage certificate.
That’s an objection, right? Legally they were never officially married. (Shinwax)
Wedding too soon?
Mom of the groom got up and said she’s against this marriage because the groom’s father had killed himself two weeks prior because he didn’t want to see the wedding.
The wedding went ahead but it was awful.
The bride was very rich, the groom very poor. His dad thought he’d have to listen to her family after the marriage and that he’d have very little control due to the fact that he was the one marrying up. [deleted user]
